In Gaza, hope starts with the smallest act - your support.
The Middle East has been affected by decades of conflict. In October 2023 this conflict escalated. Two years of brutal conflict has left unprecedented devastation on children.
Over the past two years, at least 67,000 people (including nearly 20,000 children) have been killed and 169,000 injured.
Nearly 42,000 people have suffered life-changing injuries in Gaza, of whom one in four are children and more than 5,000 amputations have been registered, according to the WHO. In addition, thousands are feared buried under the rubble.
It has been difficult to get timely and accurate situation reports and intelligence. Local partners have encountered immense challenges both receiving aid from across the border such as food, medicines, then getting into the hands of desperate children and families.
There is a catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza and nearby region. More than 2 million people are facing extreme food insecurity. The UN-backed global hunger monitor, the IPC, in August confirmed famine in Gaza City and the surrounding areas.
As cities, homes and essential infrastructure have been destroyed, our partners continue their brave response. Basic services have collapsed, leaving most people without access to essential services.
For two years you have been powerless to act while watching in horror, aid can now be procured and delivered.
