$38 - Solar Lanterns
Girls are especially at risk at night when making their way to and from the toilet blocks. The gift of a solar lantern will light their path at night and be useful for reading and doing activities inside the tent.
$75 - Child Protection & Disaster Preparedness Training
Many men died during the conflict, leaving their wives and children isolated and particularly vulnerable. ChildFund will visit families, conducting training sessions on the risks and dangers they face and teach them how to prepare and protect themselves if and when they occur.
$150 - Counselling Sessions With A Trauma Specialist
Rohingya people are suffering from a lifetime of persecution and violence. ChildFund’s Psychosocial support for children and youth will address the resulting emotional distress effecting their lives today and help them share their feelings, an important step in the healing process.
$375 - Life-Saving Devices For Disabled Children
Lack of Items like wheelchairs, canes for the blind, and mobility aids create a huge obstacle for children with disabilities. These life-saving items will help them overcome barriers to learning and allow them to access social groups and services.
