Code of Conduct

If there is an issue you would like to report to ChildFund New Zealand (or to another independent authority who keeps us in check), there are a couple of ways you can do this.

You can raise your complaints with our friendly support team by emailing us at info@childfund.org.nz or by calling us on 0800 808 822.

If you have a complaint concerning the inappropriate behaviour of anyone associated with ChildFund relating to another person – whether that be in relation to the safety of children, harassment of children or adults, or any other circumstance where ChildFund staff, volunteers or partners are concerned – please contact our Safeguarding Focal Point on safeguarding@childfund.org.nz or call us on 0800 808 822.

ChildFund is also a member of the Council for International Development (CID) and is a signatory to the CID Code of Conduct. The Code requires members to meet high standards of corporate governance, public accountability and financial management. If you feel we might have breached this code, you can contact the CID Code of Conduct Committee. More information about the CID Code of Conduct can be obtained from ChildFund New Zealand and from CID at www.cid.org.nz and code@cid.org.nz

Where this issue is sensitive, we have policies to ensure the matter is dealt with appropriately and in confidence. Our Child Safeguarding Policy is here. And our Whistleblower policy is found here.

All of our operational policies can be found here.
