Because of you, children and youth can thrive!
All around the world, the lives of thousands of children are being significantly improved with the support of ChildFund, and it's only possible because of our caring supporters.
Children and youth are the reason ChildFund exists. We partner with local organisations and develop comprehensive plans for each community where we work together. These plans (called Road Maps) highlight the key activities and outcomes we want to achieve over a period of 10 to 15 years.
But, how do we know that we're achieving the results we expected?
Measuring Thrive
We have a comprehensive framework for monitoring, evaluating and learning.
Our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework is the tool that underpins our programmes.
It guides us through the design and implementation phases of each project, acts as a strategic framework to guide what areas we work in and how we work, and it supports the delivery of evidence about: how our projects create change for children and youth; the effectiveness and quality of our approaches; and the reach and scale of our programmes.

Impact Technology
Technology helps us collect data.
We keep track of everything we do for children and families in the communities where we work.
We analyse and share this information with you so everyone can see how, together, we are impacting the community.
Reporting on Impact
Every year, we share the progress of our work in our Annual Report.
Learn about the ways your donations are making a difference by reading our Annual Report.
Within the report, you'll find stories and photos about the projects and activities we've completed with your support over the past 12 months, in the communities where we work to help children and youth to thrive.
Every three years, we measure high-level outcomes.
We understand that sustainable community changes takes time. That's why we only measure our high-level outputs every three years. This way, we can confirm that our projects and activities are helping children and youth to thrive and are leading to our ultimate outcome: self-reliant communities! We analyse the information collected and share the details with our supporters and partners through Thrive impact reports.
In 2019, we completed our baseline research, and our first three-year impact report will be available in 2022.
