Support Children in crisis

Help deliver urgently needed humanitarian aid.

Urgent assistance required

The world is facing an unprecedented number of humanitarian emergencies resulting from natural disasters and war. Innocent and vulnerable people including children have been killed or injured and huge populations have been displaced as homes have been destroyed. In the most affected areas, access to the most basic human needs (food, safe water, shelter, medical supplies) is dwindling or exhausted.

Your support is urgently needed to help deliver life-saving humanitarian assistance to children and families.

How you can help:

ChildFund NZ works with local humanitarian aid partners already on the ground to provide access to safe shelter, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) facilities, emergency and health related aid, education and psychosocial support while assessing long-term needs of impacted regions.

No safe places for children

Innocent children are victims of the conflict in Gaza. There are no safe places for children to shelter as schools, churches and even hospitals are bombed as the conflict escalates. With a full electricity blackout, essential health and sanitation services are collapsing resulting in the high risk of an outbreak of deadly infectious diseases.

56,000 homes have collapsed or are inhabitable as a result of the 6.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Morocco on 8 September leaving thousands of families without shelter as temperatures in the Atlas Mountains drop with winter approaching.
