Leaving Your Legacy

Make a gift to ChildFund in your Will

Our heartfelt invitation

As a father and as ChildFund's CEO, I find myself reflecting on a future that will be shaped by COVID-19. I find myself thinking of families overseas who may face generations of uncertainty, without our help. The World Bank reports that between 70 and 100 million people will be pushed into extreme poverty by COVID-19. Now more than ever, we must think of helping future generations.

Over the past months, we’ve been contacted by many people who wish to leave a donation in their Wills — referred to as a ‘gift' — to help children in greatest need around the world. ChildFund’s Hope Society was started years ago to give you — and the thousands of kind Kiwis who share your values — a way to help children who will need our support.

I am proud to be a founding member of ChildFund's Hope Society. Each gift is invested in ChildFund's Impact Investment Fund, to be grown, protected and put to work. It means that your gift will change the world in the most remarkable ways: food, education, life skills and training to overcome poverty!

I invite you to join us and become a Hope Society member, too.

If you’d like to know more about how we help future generations, please email bequests@childfund.org.nz or call in at 0800 808 822Or if you’d like us to contact you, just fill in the form below and a member of the ChildFund team will be in touch very soon.

Paul Brown

P.S. Be sure to read about other Kiwis who, like me, have left a charitable legacy to help children in need.
