A 7.2-magnitude earthquake rocked western Haiti on Saturday, 14 August, causing nearly 1,300 deaths and over 5,700 injuries.

A nation in need of support
"Rescuers are picking through rubble in a desperate search for any survivors."
Buildings have been flattened, hospitals are overwhelmed, and families are desperate to find their loved ones, following the quake.
Neighbouring countries are sending aid to search for survivors, before a tropical storm hits.
