"I've received a ChildFund.org.nz gift card... now what do I do?!"

We're always trying new things at ChildFund New Zealand.

At ChildFund, we are always looking for new ways to increase support for children living in Kenya, Zambia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Timor-Leste and the Pacific (our dedicated communities). As part of the 2020/2021 Gifts that Grow Catalogue campaign, we introduced a new way of giving: ChildFund.org.nz pre-loaded Gift Cards! 

The concept isn't new. It's just like a Prezzy Card... But, it's new to ChildFund! You can simply purchase a gift card of any value and we will post it to you, so you can give it to friends, family or colleagues. We also e-mail you a digital copy of the gift card, so you can start shopping immediately! 

ChildFund Gift Cards are the perfect gifts for those people you don't know how to shop for. 

When you receive your ChildFund.org.nz Gift Card, not only do you have something special in your hands, from someone who cares about you... you also have a tool to go forth and spread the love to others around the world. On the reverse side of the gift card, you'll find the total value of the card, to give you an idea of how much you can spend. Of course, you're not limited to this amount. The total value in your shopping cart will be reduced by the amount on your gift card in the checkout. You can always use other payment methods to top up your donation, if you'd like. Who would have thought that one small piece of plastic could change the world?! 

All you have to do is go to www.childfund.org.nz and browse our website for something that you're interested in. Here are a few ideas: 

• WHERE NEEDED MOST: If you'd prefer for ChildFund to use your donation in the best possible way, choose this option. Click here and then select the amount you'd like to donate to ChildFund. Easy as that! 
• EDUCATION: Globally, one in five children aren't in school. But with your donation, you can help these children! Click here for more information.
• HEALTH AND NUTRITION: Millions of children around the world are undernourished and need your help! Click here to donate now. 
• WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE: Without access to safe drinking water, children and families can get very sick, or worse. Donate now.
• BECOME A MONTHLY DONOR: We have five different monthly giving programmes to choose from. Sponsor a Community, Sponsor a Child, give to our Future Fund, join Change Creators or Child Essentials right away. 

Once you've added your items to the shopping cart, simply head to checkout to make your payment. On the right hand side of the screen, you'll see the option to use a Gift Card. Look on the reverse side of your gift card for your unique 15-digit code. Once you enter this, you'll see how much is left on your ChildFund.org.nz Gift Card. The total amount will be deducted from your shopping cart. At this point, you can choose to top up your payment with Credit Card or through PayPal.
